Joined D&D day game last Friday.. we lost again! to cheating teams.. to hell with integrity coz the game committee chairwoman decided that cheating is deemed as intelligence. sux MAX!

As there was still time before the actual dinner started.. Emily and I went shopping.. here's my buys from Plaza Sing.. who knows there r treasures there!

CNY come real fast this year.. it seems like not so long ago where we celebrated Xmas and New Year.. and now we are celebrating Chinese New year!!! and it's gonna be mummy's bday soon! omg omg omg omg! how to save money you tell me!!!

Mister has been away for 3 wks~ and he's coming back fr reservist this Sunday!! Just before he fly off for Shanghai yet again!! Kn he's doing his best to accompany me by stopping over for 2 days.. so thumbs up for effort!

Met up with Angqing and Xiaoben fr Uni for dinner.. it's been a REALLY long time since we last met and we did had lotsa fun hanging out! keke... Ex-fren Amos Tan also came back fr Tw and so mini ps and I decided tt he can join us.. hahaha.. and and and nx Fri is 2A01 gathering! woots! wondering who's turning up! hahahha...

Rite.. since today's the last day of my leave and the Mister is on his way to New Zealand, i shall write my 2012 resolutions!

1.) To apply for graduate studies
- I have been digressing on the application. This time.. I shall not drag! Really shd do sth abt my studies

2.) To go overseas with my parents once a year
- I have the same resolution last year.. bt I din't do it coz i spurge quite a bit with Mister travelling to Batam/ Hong Kong / Taiwan-Hongkong and applied for another BKK trip which is postponed to V-day this year due to flood. Since I wun b gg USA wif Hong CJ n Sandy.. will put the money on a trip wif my folks instead!

3.) To appreciate my loved ones more
- I realise I have always taken things for granted.. (i) be it family whom i spend less n less time with (i must go home for dinner at least once a wk); (ii) friends whom i now only watsapp wifout meeting; (iii) the Mister who takes most of my shit wifout grumbling..

4.) To cut off my past
- This is something i should hv long resolved to do. I have always tot.. to date someone for so many years.. even when the love disappeared.. kinship shd b there.. nvm the fact that he two-timed, gambled or "fgt/ cancelled" our dates for mahjong or secretly gg to play jackpot n lose more money.. I treated him like a family member.. so again n again.. i helped him out of situations despite my reluctance n logics. Bt enough is enough. Starting from 11 Jan 2012, he is a past tense.

5.) To go Fitness First regularly and lose weight
- I m growing sooooooooooooooo fat wif all the eateries Mister is bringing me to! so yupz!I shall make it a 2012 resolution MAJOR one tt is... to lose sm weight! OH OH! Munch less on junk food!!!

6.) Be more patient
- I have always been quick to snap especially at my customers if they dun tok properly n deliver their points across properly... so yupz.. shall b nice to them!

met up with Xin n Ver on the eve of my bday at Gyu-Kaku (Chijmes)! The food is mega love... spare for the oily feeling after.. bt tatx a little sacrifice for the yummy wagyu beef we had!

Mister had been secretive abt my bday celebration... so on tt day.. he came to pick me up at 11.30am... he had handmade me a scrapbook card (i m not showing!) and a backpack! mega loved! Den we went on our day of fun... lunchie at Nex, Serangoon before tking the NEL. He seemed pretty ya-ya and asked if i kn wat we were doing nx or gg where... Being the wet blanket i always love.. I told him tt my guess is we are checking into sm hotel? he seemed emo and so i told him i dint kn where we were gg! He told me to guess.. and i did a little random guess (Little India) and he sianx n insisted i own the hotel... OMG! little India!!!

When we were reaching.. he steered towards this...

I rolled my eyes and threatened to throw my shoes at him.. before turning ard and saw this!

I was casually mentioning this place to him one day after reading abt this place off a lifestyle magazine.. and he actually made a booking a mth back~~~ all tourist-sy.. the quirky decorations and barber/ trolley chairs totally won us over!

Mister asked us to guess our dinner place... which i couldnt... hahaha.. nv heard of this restaurant Kilo.. bt apparently it's a hidden cove tt appeared on Times magazine! Nv knew such an ulu area would hv a crowd.. bt the place was so full.. we were lucky to hv made reservations!

Dinner time! wine n euro cuisine... Mister do know how to show the bday girl a good time!

We got up too late to try out the infamous breakfast fr the hotel.. so we walked out to Little India for prawn mee.. muahahahaha... Here's Mister checking out!

and today! came back and kn tt i gt complained. was mopping ard n Mister pulled me out for lunch.. and treated me to BR ice cream and a pkt of xmas rock candies... smtimes.. i really thank e one up there.. coz it's really a blessing to date him coz he bring me laughters!

Huifang gave us early Xmas prezzies~and my colleagues gave me my bday prezzies!! on my route to silky hair! Was telling salt abt the good Kiehl's shampoo i used at Wanderlust... and they gt it for me despite the hefty price tag! i dint bear to buy it!

Met up with the twins after work today... for a lil Xmas exchange... more body cream.. my body is ultra pampered this season! love love! mini gave me a cute little pouch for bday too!

Updates! We have finally approached the Saggitarius time of the year! ^o^ Dec always make me happy! hahaha... *countdown countdown* Den again.. that would mean I am hitting my late twenties in slightly less than two wks! OMG OMG OMG OMG!

Mister and I loves exploring around Singapore for good food... few wks back.. we went 446 Joo Chiat Road to try Tian Tian Chicken Rice.. hmmm... our verdict was Boon Tong Kee is still better! bt it's yummy nevertheless! fooling ard at Joo Joo for desserts after chicky rice.. Mister was high wif $20 notes in his hands! hahaha.. okok.. maybe i was spam-whoring him.. hahahaha..

Next day.. had to crawl out of bed for planning exercise all the way at Civil Service Club.... Farrer Park at 8am is NO joke i tell u.. bonus was.. Mister was in the same exercise as me.. so we went tgt.. and we get to sit at the same table... (yes.. we r still underground).
BTW! hao da da ji pa from Taiwan is FINALLY available in Singapore! Chk out Citysquare basement i tell u!

Last Friday.. after a not so pleasant quarrel with Mister the previous nite.. we went Suntec n tried Mad About Garlic! this place is a must try... their Caesar salad and Lobster cream pasta is... OUT OF HEAVEN!

Walked round Suntec looking for Xmas prezzies for Melody, Chicken n Xiao Xiong.. dint manage to get anything.. bt we hopped over to Shaw Tower to try Tom's Palette!
Salted Caramel Cheesecake + Salted Egg Yolk Mix... it's yummy lor.. though sm ppl finds it funny lah! hahahaha... see how satisfied Mister looked!

Yesterday.. we went to Blk 532 AMK Ave 10 for On T. This Thai restaurant is just behind Mister's place.. so it was really a 5 min drive.. the taste is ULTRA authentic Thai.. so Thai food lovers.. hop in! The clear tom yam soup was a lil disappointing though.. bt... $48 for 6 dishes was... WORTH la! the seafood sauce squid and the pineapple rice... wah laox.. shiiiiiok!

Attended mentor's lil sumo's baby shower... he's sooooooooo cute!!!

and i finally L4D2 AGAIN after a long hiatus! Met Mister and his bestie for dinner and shot sm zombies... *happy*

Happy 11.11.11 everybody~ did sth great happen to you at 11.11am today? If not.. 11.11pm! keke..

And it being a special date, i shall blog! afterall... it is actually one of the dates that I always imagined myself to be married off on! hahahaha... no no.. i hv no wedding plans with Mister or whatsoever anytime soon.. Bt.. it was those silly dreams when i was younger.. i mean... waiting for crazy stupid love to load on funshion could be another reason i m blogging.. bt still...! hahahaaha~

Mths back, i would nv hv tot myself to be.. HAPPILY dating again. I mean, flings.. sure! Random dates.. bring it on! Knowing more ppl.. why not?!

Bt yupz, here m I! Mister listens to my crazy cravings and makes it a pt to bring me there wifout promptings, makes sure i m safely home every single day n send me hm if it's too late, plans surprises, balances his outings with friends and me, etc... I mean.. he is nt flawless.. bt he IS a boyfriend, if you know what i mean. Just the other day.. i was grumbling to him abt my bad morn at work.. n he brought me to hagen daaz for lunch. ... ok, enough.

I actually met mister way back in 2009 when he first joined the board.. I was on my way to work n busy playing on my k750i.. Den a guy tapped me on my shoulder and goes: "i m sorry... you work in XXX, dun u?" hahahha... since then, we would say hi whenever we bump into each other bt no sparks exchanged..

we gt closer last yr in June when i broke his thumb during a dragonboat training. hahaha... It was actually one of the darkest period in my life where i would just cry every single nite and refused to slp. I was afraid to slp coz everytime i do, I had nightmares after nightmares and jerk up crying all over again. yes, i was hving depression tt time.

Still, we were friends. he would invite me out for various activities coz we live 5 bus stops fr each other.. random email exchanges during work turned to long hrs of sms.. and i thought to myself.. hey! this buddy here is great! (i was still gg out randomly wif other guys tt period) Den, friends started telling me that maybe, he's the one for u.

Den, he confessed. And got rejected. hahahaha... I was not ready. I was not ready to believe in love again. I was not ready to plunge myself into another relationship. I was worried after i rejected him. what if, what if i lose myself a hanging out buddy... we were practically meeting twice a wk!

Bt yupz.. nx day.. we msged as per normal. And on 19 May 2011, standing at my gate after a long emo session fr my bad day... we started dating. hahahaha... it was so sudden tt he went hm msging me if it was a spur of the moment. Truthfully speaking, i questioned myself on tt too. hahahaha.. Bt. Despite our quarrels, i nv really regret. At least, he brought lots of entertainment in my life. Nt a dull moment definitely.

Mister n I took a few days off work for a 8D7N trip to TW on 21 Oct =)

Needless to say.. i hate Tw. Mister is the only saving grace and i came back with sm strange viral influenza.. i was still pretty alright till the very last day... after Mister sent me hm and i bathed.. i just couldnt stand straight anymore.. Mister had to drive over during midnite to bring me to the 24hr Family Clinic in AMK... look at the bill!!!

Okiex.. onto happier things... two days before Tw.. I went to get myself a pedicure.. Happy Feet!

knowing it'll be a long long day ahead.. i started off the day well with dark choco cake fr Marina bay sands... Loving daddy n mummy max!

True enough... i only left office ard 9 plus... and here's my love notes to my covering officer with details on my cases~~~

When i gt home.. the mailbox caught me by surprise coz my parcel fr Laopo's blogshop 0840am arrived!!! love love!

Despite Cathay providing 2 meals on flight... we were famished by the time we reached tw... time for the SGD 0.80 ru rou fan (braised minced pork wif rice!)

shopped ard Xi Men Ding as it was pretty late by the time we touched down since it was a HK transit to TW flight... and we saw Ah Mao!!! woots! still as cute after two yrs! only huger!

Started off next day with Ah Zhong Mian Xian

acting all tourist-sy as we went Chiang Kai Shek memorial hall~

Den we started walking towards taipei 101~ I amazed myself wif my navigation skill at times coz i always managed to land us in sm small alley and i always walk out of it rightfully at our destination... Mister says tt it's my personal talent! *beams*

Den it was Ding Tai Feng~~ hahaha.. dun ask me why.. we were just too bz eating to tk photo la! bt the paper holder is cute max dun u tink so?

Mister wakes up ard noon everyday.. so we had Modern Toilet restaurant for brunch! yeah.. our couple tee is from USS which we got on his birthday in Sept.. keke...

N off to Jiu Fen we went! our trip there was pretty messy coz we dint really kn how to read the train timings.. bt we managed to get there nonetheless!

and so we bought tickets from the train station on e way back.. hassle free and fast!

Mister gave me a surprised gift while i was bz choosing souvenirs... he say this keychain seems like him coz it's his signature octopus kisses.. hahaha

and it was Korean BBQ for the nite *loves loves*
Mister likes BBQ, Steamboats, crabs.. and when he doesnt like them.. he eats them! keke...

Seeing the weather is pretty awesome the next day.. we decide to push fwd our Dan Shui trip to get some sun~ so off to Danshui we went.. kekeke.. and Shi Lin Nite mkt there after!

Nx day.. it was Wu Fen Pu wholesale centre Shoppa-haven Day! kekeke... we slpt till almost 2pm to store enough energy and off we went! No pics coz it was raining pretty heavily tt day... Bt to prove how much we shopped.. Mister spoilt his gd Puma sports shoe.. and we went "Playground" to get him a new pair! muahahahahaha... Look at his face of contempt on my buys!

Hey... I am only doing what a girl must do! hahaha

We were so tired after we just slpt all the way despite waking so late that day... and we dint manage to wake till past noon next day.. hahahha... we must be the worst tourists ever! LOL...

We went Xin Dian to look at Bi Tan (more pics wif Mister).. that's the prob u know... he loves bringing cammie out to tk photos of us.. bt he NEVER give them to me... =(

Had Hu Xu Zhang Ru Rou Fan for brunch~ keke... Mister loves doing lots of poses whenever there's food... he makes me fat la!

Bi Tan was pretty nice and we had a great time chitchatting in e rain.. hahahhaa.. yes. rain.

and we went Shi Da nite mkt for a walk...

discovered this yummy Japanese restaurant there! great drinks and great food! I post more pics of this place so that if u ever go shi da nite mkt.. u peeps should try it out too!

After wondering around the area and the parks.. we went back slightly early to our hotel to pack our stuffs before dinner. And since it was our last nite.. we counted our cash and decided to reward ourselves with good Ma La Steamboat.

We have decided to eat at Tai He Dian (Hong Kong artistes' #1 fav) and went to check out with the concierge. The friendly hoteler told us to try another one near our hotel instead... and we DEFINITELY dint regret it! it was FABULOUS and i shall declare it the best meal in tw i have for past few days!

The catch is.. we had to wait 2 hrs (till 10pm) for our turn... so if u want to go there.. they allow reservations.. do make ur reservations early!

We were shopping around when i saw this cute lil melody softie.. Mister says it's a waste of money and so i put it down... when it was time to board the plane.. Mister suddenly said that he needs to go to the gents... and when he's back.. he gave me this! hahahaha

HK was spent in a blur coz we were bz shopping, paying and then rushing to boarding gate once again... we shall hv longer transit nx we go!!!

Thank you Mister.. I had fun this trip! Albeit the few quarrels we had on the first two days! keke...

Celebrated 4th mth anniversary with Mister ystd..

We came across an article on this sushi bar that do novelty sushi for their regulars sm time back.. Told Mister that I would like to try it but fgt the name.. Mister managed to locate it and convinced the chef to do a set for me! so.... pictures!

A lil self-reflection (you can stop reading if u are not in a philosophical mode):

I blif that in every relationship, it is quite unrealistic to expect a bed of roses wif no hidden thorns.. A little banter brings us a little closer, a little more understanding for our differences. Ups and downs DO bond a couple closer.

There are times I wonder how mister and I would be years down the road. Honeymoon periods are always.. well.. honey-coated. Bt beneath the veils.. are we going to be as rosy?

These days.. I noticed that a few of my friends' bfs have gotten so complacent in their relationships.. they thought that no matter how sucky they are to their gfs.. things will nv change.. these stories actually brought me back to a period of time where i was just.. SETTLED. I was lucky because i just snap out of the trance one day when i woke up and realised that this is not i want for the rest of my life.. till today I am thankful to the one up there for giving me this day when my heart just died and gave up. I sincerely pray for those who are scared to take the first step.. to TAKE the first step. You nv know what lies beyond the mist, but you'll be stuck within forever if you nv make an effort to get out of the it.

Went on site inspection the other day and found the SUPER retro sweets: Bob Dog cigarette sweets and Minicola!!! wooooooooots! Gone are the days when these sweets were cheap and easily available in mama shops! It's now selling at $0.75 at Popular! What a rip off!!!

While looking for my old icq number i found this!!! Those were the times when i was always late for school... fgt sch badge... there was a time when the discipline master Mr ong was so strict on sch badges that the tuckshop went out of stock for school badge!!! so we had to buy Mr Ong's personalised sch badge at the same price... LOL...

Happy Sunday everyone!

The month of May was fun-filled with gatherings after gatherings, and yes, dating!

After months of mopping and getting myself together.. I recently found myself a Mister!! Haha.. so send me your blessings!!! =P

And I am certainly looking forward to end of the year trips to Batam, Bintan, Hong Kong, Europe & Bangkok! Woots! I have been stuck btw JB, Batam and Singapore for the first half of 2011..... Second half of the year certainly sounds promising doesn't it! Esp it means time spent with SCHY gang, besties, laopos (and Hi to my latest Xiao San Chris!) and the mister!

I was sleeping thru'out every rides and had no idea wat each place is called... we booked the 7-days Hokkaido hotspring tour.. the one tt only provide 3 meals tt one.. so u all just go chk out fr internet if u all wan specific names k? hahaahaha..

Life is sooooooo busy.. even for a stay-at-home 宅女!!! I m actually happy wif my life nw~ a little breather at work before Blitz go on full force in Sept (although i could do wifout those complainants), surrounded myself with friends who love me, planning a trip to Japan with parents, freed of constant worry and getting all depressed in a r/s... I m surrounding myself with all the positive ions. I stopped crying every wk. I think, i m finding the happy girl in me once more =D

The first thing to notice here is that a woman has not one ,but two ladders. This is becasue in addition the normal ladder, a woman also has a friends ladder. If he is on the friends ladder this is a case of ladder jumping. The man is trying to jump the gap from the friends ladder to the real ladder. The girl has two choices at this point: she can let him on the ladder and all is well, or, more likely, she can kick him in the head, and off the ladder. If you look you'll see that below the ladder is the Abyss(what was it Nietzsche said about a man being on a rope stretched over an Abyss?....well it's worse than he thought; there is no rope.) So the man falls into the Abyss. The Abyss isn't really as bad as it sounds. Mostly it's a period of self-loathing, embarrassment, and of course utter awkwardness with the girl in question if they are talking at all.

To fully illustrate the point I'll now examine some common scenarios and their ladder theory explanations. For purposes of these examples Tom will be our boy and Jane will be out girl.

Scenario 1: Tom meets Jane. She's pretty and seems interesting to talk to. Tom and Jane start haging out and talking more and more. Tom develops an attraction to Jane, and one day tries to kiss her. Jane tell Tom she doesn't think of him that way and she wants to remain friends. The next few weeks contact between the two falls off. Jane starts fucking an outlaw biker.

Ladder Theory Explanation: Tom met Jane. Tom was immediately placed on the friends ladder. Tom didn't know this. Tom tried to jump ladders. Jane kicked Tom in the head rather than let him on and sent him hurtling to the Abyss below. The oulaw biker was not on her friends ladder (they never are) but rather on her good ladder.

Scenario 2: Tom meets Jane. She's cute and seems smart. After an appropriate amount of time he asks her out on a date. She acccepts and they have what seems to be a perfectly nice date. Tom thinks he has a chance with Jane. He asks her out again. She says no, either explicitly or by never returning his phone call. Tom has no idea what the Hell just happened. Jane starts fucking an unemployed alcoholic.

Ladder Theory Explanation: Jane misrepresented which ladder Tom was on. He thought he was on the good ladder because of her acceptance of the date. Mistake. This led to an unintentional ladder jump. He was kicked into the Abyss. In this situation, Jane often wants to stay friends becasue you are so interesting and funny or some shit like that. If this happens you are most likely an Intellectual Whore. I'm sorry. This is most likely to be a ninja-bitch.

Scenario 3: A girl says any of the following to you:

• "You're like a brother to me"
• "You're like a big teddy bear".
• "I feel like I can talk to you about anything"
• "You're so nice"
• "Can you help me with my homework"

The Men's ladder

So it should be self-evident, if you are following this at all, that the people you want to have sex with the most will be at the top of the ladder. Descending down to the bottom of the ladder we pass the following people:

1. The people we really want, who may even be out of our league, are on top.
2. Then come the people we like.
3. Moving further down we pass the people who we would fuck if we were intoxicated and would admit to doing it later.
4. At the bottom are the people we would fuck drunk, and would lie about doing it later.

Clinging to the bottom are the girls that are wolf ugly. These are women so ugly you would chew your own arm off to get away rather than fuck them. Usually fake teeth, or the loss of several hundred pounds can move a woman up from wolf ugly.
